The Fifth

I've always had a love hate relationship with the month of February. On the one hand, the weather is usually beautiful, and I love all the lovely Valentine's day decorations. It's just so cheerful that it makes everything seem a lot brighter and more joyous. On the other hand, it's a shorter month, which makes it seems like all the plans of the month are being jam packed down into only a few short days. I know that it's silly, seeing as it's only a few days shorter, but a few days always makes so much of a difference and with NEWT's coming up, everyday is an extra hour of studying.

Speaking of, has anyone else started buckling down on their studying?

The Fourth

[Warded to Self]
Got a late holiday card from my mother and sister. They pretty much were trying to gloat that I stayed in London while they got to go off skiing in Switzerland. I'm tempted to send a fucking letter back saying that I had so much more fun fucking staying in London and playing video games, laser tag, paintball, and shit things like that. I wonder if that would shut her up. I need some gummies. Or a good game of paintball or laser tag.

This break has been spoiling me with all the exciting things that I miss during school.

I hope everybody had a good New Year's. Has anybody done anything exciting in this new year?

The Third

As much as I love Hogwarts, it's good to be home. I had forget just how good of sleep I get when sleeping in my own bed. Which is good, because my brother and Vera got me up at the crack of dawn to go on an "adventure". Which ended with me spending half a day browsing through books and buying a large stack of books. My father had a good laugh as I tried to navigate my way to my room behind the stack. I'm please to say I only ran into about three things.

How is everybody else enjoying their break?

The Second

I hate to be yet another person talking about the upcoming ball, but I actually like seeing the posts about it. At first I was kind of skeptical about the idea, but I'm really starting to get excited. Today, Vera sent me about six different catalogs and told me to pick one out as an early Christmas present. I am thinking either a pastel color or a simple black dress, I am horrible at telling what looks good on what type of people but those seem like good options.

I am looking forward to the upcoming holiday; I seem to be going through my books quicker and quicker now that the weather is getting cold, nothing better than curling with hot chocolate and a good book. I just finished Anna Karina, which was as beautiful as it was depressing, and I am halfway through my next one. If anyone has an suggestions for my book, I would be happy to hear some.

The First

I'm glad that Hogsmeade is right around the corner. I misjudged the amount of books I had and some how am down to my last book. I wish that Hogsmeade had a more muggle literature, I feel bad having to owl my dad every few weeks asking him to send a few books. Which reminds me, I have to do that!

So, anyone else have any exciting plans for Hogsmeade?
